The tent thing didn’t go so well, ended up sleeping on the pavement outside a bank. It was raining buckets and was pitch dark, this little dry corner just called out to me. Amazingly slept just fine, up early and 15 miles later here I am in a stupidly busy hostel. Got my firt puncture, a sliver of metal puncturing my heart and tearing me apart 🙂 stuck a patch on the tube and was rolling again in .5 of an hour, seems ages but there is no point in rushing these things. Read some of my book. I am going through a book every 2 days, thank heavens for book exchanges and thrift stores.
How would Sir like his steak? Like my ASS tender and raw, actually not so bad so a day off tomorrow will be what the doc oredered. My friend is Sudocreme 🙂 I can’t recommend British Columbia enough, just stunning and Canadians are really cool people.
Felt a bit lonely this morning, waking up on concrete will do that, a week ago I was at a wedding with min askling in Sweden, funny old life.
Missing you Dickie, but sounds like you’re having a great time! Rather you than me!
Lots of love,
Batty Bumble
I knew banks had to be good for something. I’m sure you’ll begetting impressive calluses on your arse soon. Something for the Agster to get her teeth into. How are you going to get ice cream to me after I thrash you in motogp today?
You owe me ice cream. You can send by fedex;-)
Good job Owain. Don’t let me catch you going down cycle paths the wrong way again though laddie or saddle rash won’t be the only thing bothering your backside this week!!
Actually I am rather envious of your being in BC.
I think you would enjoy the hell out of BC teach and the boys as well.
thats better mucker 🙂
Ah, BC weather – can’t beat it. John showed me the picture of your pink horn, very nice. Hope you’re not going through too mnay tubs of Sudocreme! xxx
Owain – best check your next bank statement. Those Alan B’stards probably have a cross-charge for everything. Sleeping on the concrete included! I had a very pleasant early Saturday morning hung-over cycle round the hills of Somerset. Lush, cool and very empty. Only two mad farm dogs tried to chew my legs. Been chased by any 4 legged critters yet? I believe there are bears in them there woods…
Funny you should mention that as a hound chased the the other morning, took exception to the trailer.
How is things going. Are you still on roll? And without a could? Have you met any
bears yet? How is the weather? Here in Sweden the autumn has com now. The temperature is falling and the trees are getting yellow.
Good luck and best regards from us on the iland.
