Golden Gate woohoo, the other two were between Santa Cruz and Monterey riding through farmland. Strawberries mostly and hundreds of Hispanic workers picking, shoveling etc. A really fun day and that was about the only dry moments.
Looking gooood Richard!! You look like you are really enjoying yourself 🙂 Jules
Are you really in the USA or have they painted the old 7 bridge Red !!!!!!!
cannot not put in another comment – looked up Big Sur on google images – all i can say is WOW you will be pushing through scenery and views so spectacular – your journey just keeps getting better and better, digital overload ope you have a huge amount of giga bytes in your camera
Hello mate! This all looks amazing – reading with great fascination. Got a mate here who wants to do the same thing (also on a Thorn). You’re going to be a whippet by the time you come back!
You know Thatch has been in hospital? Hope you’re carrying a can of cider in that trailer in case the moment comes!
Hi Richard, good to see that you’ve reached the Humber Bridge and that other people still think you’re in the USA. How is Grimsby in October? Sorry to read that you were cut up by an oversize BMW. I can assure that my beloved Enfield wouldn’t do such a thing, mainly ’cause it won’t go fast enough. First bit fell off last week so now it’s a proper classic! Keep on pedalling and you’ll soon reach that lovely canal in Newbury? Sorry Panama.
